This year's 22nd Annual 18th Street Pilsen Open House Studios took place on October 19 and 20.

Local artists opened their studios during the event to showcase their work environment to the public. Those without a studio were still able to exhibit their work in studio galleries, local businesses, cafés, and small restaurants that opened their doors to support their community.

Teresa Magaña, co-founder and executive director of Pilsen Arts and Community House, said that the highly anticipated event is a great opportunity for people to gain a “deeper appreciation” for local art, and that it can “be something beautiful, something successful, something lucrative.”
